Once again, for the last time, Ozzy Osbourne would like to bid audiences a final farewell—but it's gonna take a while.
The Black Sabbath frontman is planning a solo swan song that will begin next spring in Mexico, wind through South America and Europe and eventually visit the U.S. before wrapping up sometime in 2020.
"This will be my final world tour," Osbourne, 68, says on his website, "but I can't say I won't do some shows here and there."
Dates for the North America leg of his farewell tour are expected to be announced next year, coinciding with Black Sabbath's 50th anniversary.
The heavy-metal pioneers and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers started rocking in 1968 and played their final show in their native Birmingham, England, in February. Black Sabbath officially disbanded a month later.
