1. The A.O.C. Cookbook by Suzanne Goin. Los-Angeles based Goin's much anticipated follow up to her James Beard Award-winning book, Sunday Suppers at Lucques, will focus on seasonal small plates from her much lauded restaurant. 2. Pok Pok by Andy Ricker. After years traveling through Thailand, chef Ricker opened Pok Pok in his hometown of Portland. That was 2005. Today there are five Pok Poks in Portland and New York. And at the end of the month, there will be a book that is as much a love letter to Thai food as it is recipe collection. We're excited about: Som Tham Thai – the papaya salad is a serious favorite. 3 Tartine Book No. 3 by Chad Robertson. The third book in the series, these 85 recipes reflect master baker Robertson's exploration of heirloom grains. We're excited about: Chocolate Wholegrain Croissants Due: November 26
4. Cooking from the Heart by John Besh. This award-winning New Orleans chef shares 140 easy-to-make recipes he's perfected over 20 years in the kitchen. We're excited about: Eggplant and Tomato Confit Due: October 29
5. The Gramercy Tavern Cookbook by Danny Meyer and Michael Anthony. With six James Beard awards under its belt, Gramercy Tavern more than lives up to its accolades. Chef Anthony shares 125 recipes from his kitchen and divides them up by season. We're excited about: Braised Lamb Shoulder with Broccoli Puree. Due: October 29
