Garden Party

It may be getting cooler, but that doesn't mean we have to abandon all things fresh in the kitchen. William Sonoma launched their upscale Agrarian section last year complete with stylish chicken coops, a cider press and a rustic-looking butter kit. They also boast some very cool vertical gardens including this one with chalkboard surrounds ($140) that allows you to keep growing fresh herbs all winter. Urbio also offers an indoor vertical option for small plants ($175 for the large garden) plus some handy planting tips for the non-green thumbs among us. And Target has a white faux rock vertical garden with its own internal irrigation system for $70. Once the herbs are flourishing, check out Food52, our favorite recipe site, for some inspiration. — Cerentha Harris
