America's few remaining drive-in theaters may see their final screenings before year's end. That's when motion picture distribution goes 100% digital, leaving this piece of Americana in the dust. At an estimated cost of around $80,000, conversion to digital projection is beyond the means of many drive-in theaters. Honda's ingenious new marketing campaign, ProjectDriveIn.com, aims to raise awareness of the drive-ins' plight, using social media and the fund-raising platform Indiegogo.
