U2 to tour in spring to support new album

Armed with 13 new songs and more than 40 years of experience, U2 will release a new album, "Songs of Experience," on December 1 and embark on a two-month U.S. tour next spring.

The Irish quartet is teasing their 14th studio album by making a new track, "Get Out of Your Own Way," available for instant download when preordering "Songs of Experience." Two other tunes were previously released: "You're the Best Thing About Me" and "The Blackout."

Four bonus tracks are included on deluxe CD and vinyl editions. There's also a deluxe box set that features a Digipack CD, a gatefold sleeve with two LPs on 180-gram vinyl, a poster and a 12-page newspaper, all encased in a laminated cyan-blue rigid box.

The arena tour will kick off May 2 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and stop in 15 cities, wrapping up June 25 at Madison Square Garden in New York and June 29 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
