A proposed biopic about reggae king Bob Marley is getting Ziggy with it.
Ziggy Marley, 49, is developing a movie about his iconic father, Variety reports. The film has no title, director, producers or script. But it's already generating a buzz.
Bob Marley's oldest son is the longtime frontman of his own band, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. He has won seven Grammy Awards, including the 2016 prize for Best Reggae Album for his self-titled solo album.
Bob Marley is the Jamaican singer/songwriter and Rastafarian best known for 1970s reggae hits with his band, the Wailers, including "Jamming," "No Woman, No Cry" and "Get Up, Stand Up." He was 36 when he died of skin cancer in 1981.
