Requiem for RadioShack?

RadioShack declared bankruptcy last week. The flailing electronics chain reported consecutive loses over all of the last 11 quarters, totaling $936 million. Of its approximately 5,000 stores around the world, 1,784 will close in three waves between now and late March, and it has been rumored that Sprint is in talks with RadioShack to co-brand 1,750 of the remaining locations. Meanwhile, Amazon is reportedly interested in taking over some of RadioShack's stores to use them as pick-up/drop-off locations for online shoppers. Business Insider has a full list of stores that are closing. —Michael Dukas
